My daughter and I enjoy crafts, and we (or I) especially enjoy them when we use recycled materials for our crafts. Here is a cute basket that you can make using empty water bottles.
We cut the top off of a small 8 oz. water bottle and covered it with cardstock. You could also use tissue paper or wrapping paper. We added a handle using pipe cleaners (two that we twisted together) and gave the bunny matching whiskers.
This basket is the perfect size for a place setting (simply add utensils and a napkin). It's also the perfect size for giving small treats such as a small bag of Easter cookies, candy, or cupcake.
