Spring Break Camps and Classes

~Spring Break Swim Lessons
Splash is a great way to get kids swimming before the summer. Lessons are available for all ability levels, from non-swimmers up through advanced. In each 45-minute lesson, participants will receive 15 minutes of safety instruction and 30 minutes of lessons in the pool.
Sessions: Morning sessions 9am, 9:30am, 10am, 11am
Evening sessions 5:30pm, 6pm, 6:30pm
Ages: 5-12 (K-6th grade)
Schedule: March 23-27
Fee: $15 total for the week, for both members and non-members.
Required items: Come prepared with a swimsuit and towel

~Babysitting Training Course
This course includes CPR training and can help you interview for a babysitting job. Participants will learn how to chooses safe and age-appropriate toys and games, prevent injuries and be prepared if an emergency happens, handle bedtime issues and more.
Age: 12 & up
Schedule: March 23-24 9am-3pm
Fee: Member $30 Non-Member $45

~International Art Camp

Art Camp is a perfect program for letting kids' imaginations and creativity run wild. In this international-themed camp, kids will complete a new project every day focused on experiencing and learning about cultures from around the world. Participants will craft, experience and taste foods from each culture.
Age: 9-14
Schedule: March 23-26 1pm-4pm
Fee: Member: $80 Non-Member $120

~Garden Camp
In this program, kids will get their hands dirty while learning the fun and life-long skill of gardening. In the education youth garden, this program will teach the science behind how plants grow, thrive and produce yummy fruits and vegetables.
Age: 7-12

~Lego Art Camp
Mixing STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) together with arts. Students will use their creativity and imagination to build beautiful sculptures, while learning about the importance of composition, stability, and support.
Age: 4-7
Schedule: March 23-26 9am-12pm

~Simple Machines
Simple Machines are the building blocks for helping any young person become a master builder. In this class, kids will learn about structural engineering by building levers, pulleys, gears, wheels and axles with LEGOS.
Age: 7-12

~Rookies Soccer Camp
Introduce kids to the world of soccer through this 4-day camp. Participants will learn basic soccer skills through fun games and drills.
Age: 4-7
Schedule: March 23-26 1pm-3pm

Required items: Water bottle, closed-toed shoes

~Team Idaho Track Camp
Team Idaho Spring Break Track Camp is designed to help track and field athletes fine tune their techniques and increase their strength. Each day will start with an hour-long classroom session containing valuable information about training tips, goal setting, and proper nutrition. Following the classroom portion, participants will have a 2-hour training session that includes warm up, form drills, workout, and cool down.

~4-H Discover Smart Snacks
Come learn about some tasty fruits, veggies, and whole grain foods that may have you craving for more. Our instructor will teach you how to fix them yourself. Learn basic cooking skills and stay safe in the kitchen while you're at it. You get to prepare your own snacks each day.
Age: Grades 4th-5th
Schedule: March 23-25 9am-Noon

~4-H Healthy Cooking & Active Lifestyle
Join us to learn about healthy living choices. You will learn snack making and cooking skills.
Age: Grades 6th-8th
Schedule: March 23-25 1:30-4:30pm
Fee: $5

~4-H Leather Craft
Learn how to prepare leather for tooling and to use the basic tools of leather craft. Complete a project to take home.
Age: 9-12 years old
Schedule: March 26 9am-noon
Fee: $12

~4-H Let's Get Things Rolling
Do you have what it takes to build a car from every day supplies? Come and test your building skills against other teams. Once you have designed and built your car, we will see who takes the checkered flag.
