I love getting out annual family photos done. I like to try new things every year and have new themes, but I do want them done every year. My oldest turned 20 this year, which means I have 20 family photos. I love seeing how our family has grown and changed. This year felt a little different. I considered not getting our photos done because my oldest joined the Navy and is now stationed far from Idaho and won't be coming home. I thought maybe this was the year that we should stop. I was sure my family would be fine to not be forced into dressing up and getting into poses. I was wrong. I actually received objections when I mentioned we probably wouldn't do family photos this year. So we will be doing them.
